The promos are the reason to buy
The two illustration cards in IB-08 carry brand-new artwork and are exclusive to this box. They are not in the standard booster print run, which is what keeps the Illustration Box line trading well above the value of its four packs. Kid and Killer bring the Supernova collector base with them, and Kid leaders have a deep competitive following, so the alternate art gets chased by players and collectors at the same time.
A clean entry point
The pack mix is built for players stepping in. The [OP15-EB04] packs cover recent releases and the [OP-16] packs build straight on top of them, so one box delivers usable cards plus two display-worthy promos instead of four packs of loose singles.
