The set
Released September 26, 2025, Mega Evolution is the inaugural set of the new Mega Evolution era. It revives one of the most beloved mechanics in Pokémon history, bringing Mega Pokémon back as a new ex variant. The set established the foundation the rest of the era builds on, with Phantasmal Flames, Ascended Heroes, and Perfect Order following as subsequent sets.
