The set
Released February 25, 2022, Brilliant Stars introduced the VSTAR mechanic to the Pokémon TCG, with Arceus VSTAR as the centrepiece of the launch. Charizard VSTAR, Shaymin VSTAR, and Whimsicott VSTAR round out the headline VSTAR pool, while Mimikyu VMAX, Aggron VMAX, and Kingler VMAX in Gigantamax form add depth to the chase list. Brilliant Stars cannot be reprinted as the Sword & Shield era has closed.
